Hillside Food Outreach Annual Report 2016

Dear Friends,
One of the blessings of preparing the Annual Report is looking back over the year to the work that we have been able to do to help our “neighbors in need”. We are truly grateful for all the support we received that allowed us to accomplish this. Some of the highlights of the year 2016 include:

• We provided approximately 640,000 nutritious, healthy meals to over 2500 men women and children. Approximately 4222,000 in Westchester County, 78,000 in Putnam County and 140,000 in Western Connecticut.
• We were able to provide diabetic bags for over 8000 bags of diabetic food to our clients that are suffering from diabetes, gluten allergies and other medically related diets.
• Engaging over 500 youth throughout Westchester, Putnam and Western Connecticut to help us to pack the staple bags and learn to “give back” in their communities.
• Provide 20,000 lbs. of fresh produce to the families how stay at the Ronald McDonald’s House at the Maria Ferrari Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY

Thank you for all of your generous support!
